Session 52: When Last We Met 9.24.23
General Summary
When last we met, The party had lay claim to their new home Maplevale manor and bedded down for a night of well deserved rest. During which they were visited by dreams. Visions of the past. Vaarn's past. They awaken to a new day and they took on a number of different tasks to secure their own home as well as the town now under their lordship. Isolde, Arcturus, And Vandread head out and begin cleansing Ailec of the remnants of the Undead living in the City. Meanwhile Tensi has Eammon send out a decree stating that Anyone looking for new land and new opportunity and possesses a skill for building, farming, or mercantile trades may apply to live in Ailec rent free for one year while the town gets slowly rebuilt. After that, the party called in the expertise of their acquaintance Sebastian who investigated the strange markings on the floor of their cellar. After careful inspection, Sebastian remarks that One is a Teleportation Circle and the other is some type of Ward protecting the Teleportation circle. Upon Their return, Vandread casts identify to figure out the exact nature of this Ward and finds out It is triggered by stepping into the Teleportation Circle which would then activate two traps as well as a speech by the man himself.
Arcturus Proceeds to dispel the magic of these wards. Rendering it safe but still annoying. Sensing the way is clear, Mistral steps foot into the portal and is followed by the rest of the party. They find themselves in The Abraxios Academy. In a restricted area of the School. They are met by Saraeris who immediately casts Time-stop which is then counterspelled by Isolde. Putting up a Globe of Invulnerability, Saraeris and the party exchange interrogational questions and find out that They did not have knowledge of Vaarn placing a Teleportation circle leading to the school. Eventually tensions cool and The headmistress asks the party that they simply warn them of their arrival before making use of this Teleportation circle. The party agrees to this and are sent back with a casting by Vernon, The caretaker of the Portal. Once back in their new home, The party takes some downtime to make plans for their new town and to erect a temporary building to house the influx of workers they expect to see joining their town of Ailec.
Utilizing their own skills and work ethic as well as a few artificer tricks, They manage to erect this longhouse type structure in the Town. After about 20 days of this, The party wonders if they have gotten any new applicants for a Steward they sought to take care of the house. Eammon departs to go grab those interested parties. And with their minor respite complete, Romaia proceeds to scry on the Avatars of Tharizdun. After several attempts, she is able to get a read on 2 of them. One is in the area where the Sylvaneth forest meets the Battlegrove and it appears to be searching for something. Vandread theorizes it may be searching for the portal to the Feywild. Meanwhile the other one is seen approaching Raven'shead Prison. Far in the north of The Elder Isle. The party makes preliminary plans to pursue the Avatar closer to them geographically. And that's where we'll pick up next time!

- Party awoke in their new home and decided to start securing the house and the town
- Half the party went to Clean up the Zombies
- The Other half sorted out the basement
- Over the course of three days, Sebastian arrived to investigate
- Vandread, Isolde, And Arcturus returned from their glorious hunt
- Figured out the Teleportation Circle and returned home after using it.
- Sebastian took his leave back to the academy.
- Party Set about building a Longhouse to temporarily shelter those arriving into town as they build up their own homesteads and shops.
- Some applicants expressed interest in the steward position
- Party returned home
- Over the course of three days, Romaia had scried on the Avatars and located 2 of them. One in the Battle Grove and One in Raven'shead Penitentiary
