Session 34: When Last We Met - 5/8/23
General Summary
When last we met, the party were deep into the catacombs beneath the Cliffs of Lommond facing down what seemed to be their final threat: two crazed and wounded cultists and a boar-like demon in the midst of this giant Temple.
The party entered the skirmish and exchanged multiple blows with the evil doers. Armed with the Dagger of Tharizdun, One of the cultists gravely wounded Isolde nearly bringing her to death. She was pulled out of danger by Vandread and healed by Arcturus and kept in the fight. Eventually the party slew the cultists and Isolde banished the demon back to the Abyss with an overpowered Guiding bolt spell. Tearing through its hide with radiant damage. As the party pulled themselves together in the silence of the chamber, a new threat emerged as this disfigured, mal-formed avatar of Tharizdun appeared in all its horrific splendor. Romaia reacted quickly and plunged it into this equally unknowable void with her Hunger of Hadar spell. The party then engaged it in combat, launching spell and projectile (as best they can) into the dark portal of madness in hopes of hitting the thing momentarily trapped within. It does make its way outside the Dark space and proceeds to duplicate itself until there are three of this thing standing before the party. The new formed trio move to destroy the door the party came through as well as puncture the ceiling allowing the sea water to pour in from above their heads. They then proceed to teleport away leaving the party in a most precarious situation. And that's where we'll pick up next time!

That.... Thing? - Some sort of creature clearly connected to Tharizdun. It's form is abhorrent and its aura is sickening.
