Session 33: When Last We met - 5/1/23
General Summary
When last we met, the party had fought their way through a dark crypt, filled with tainted undead. Their cleansing of this ancient catacomb continues as they lay even more undead to rest. They move strategically from area to area, fully aware of what lay in store for them except for one final area. A stone door that Mist-Tral could not pass.
They finally arrive at said door and see a carving of some otherworldly abominable creature on the wall and the headless statue that Mistral described in his scouting adventure. Vandread proceeds to place one of the undead heads they collected into its receptacle and the door swings open. They move through it to a large chamber of carved stone. A temple of some kind. Inside they find two robed cultists standing over a sea of dead bodies. What look like the last of the gems bubbling and roiling in some cauldron filled with a red liquid. Beyond that they see a porcine looking Demon staring them down. Vandread teleports in and attacks one of the cultists before returning to the party.
If they weren't alerted to the party, they certainly are now. The cultist that was attacked turns to them, his eyes bloodshot and a black liquid coursing through his veins as he proclaims himself the "Bringer of Entropy". He appears to be holding a black ceremonial dagger of some kind.
And that's where we'll pick up next time!

A Pig-Like Demon - Risen from the Abyss by the cultists
