Session 18 - When Last We Met - 12/12/22

General Summary

When last we met, the party was locked in a battle with a mysterious man in the midst of stealing away the 333 gems of Tharizdun. Accompanying said gentleman were 2 demons from the Abyss. The party focused their attacks on one of them while The Keeper of the Forgotten grabbed the other and flew away with it up to the top of the chamber. 
This mysterious spellcaster got away with the lion's share of the Gems, but the party wrestled 140 of them away from him. Once gone, the party focused on destroying the sickly looking insectoid demon, which they eventually accomplish, While the 4-armed demon comes crashing back to the ground shattering on impact. 
With the battle at an end, the party takes stock of what just happened, feeling that they somehow didn't succeed in their mission. A sentiment shared somewhat by the Keeper. However hope remains kindled as all knowledge of lore and myth says that all 333 are needed to truly free Tharizdun himself. With two other artifacts out there to recover, The ancient Keeper advises them to keep to their course and see these 140 gems are destroyed. 
The party, along with the keeper, return to the summer court to inform the queen what happened. With The keeper at first taking full responsibility for the failure of his duty, but the party steps forward to take their share of the blame. the queen instead advises them that what they have should be destroyed immediately and offers them assistance in any form she or her court can offer. Involving physical items (Such as a bag of holding) as well as various boons requested by the party. To which they begin their asking.
And that's where we pick up next time!
