Session 16 - When Last we Met - 11/29/22

General Summary

When last we met, the party had made their way into the summer court where they met the fabled Queen of the fey - Titania, as well as a council of unusual creatures making up her court. The queen spoke to the party through an emissary and revealed she knew Romaia through a... previous encounter. This placed Romaia as the face of the party as she implored the queen to hand over their artifact of Tharizdun to them for its destruction. 
The queen refuses them stating that they are strangers to this court and must first prove their loyalty. They are instructed to rid her realm of a giant creature known as a Fomorian to stop it from spreading its curse to others and put an end to its own misery. The party agrees and a portal is opened to the creature's resting place. 
The party sneaks up on it and casts a darkness spell centered on an arrow - which is then fired by Celeste into its hind quarters, blinding it to the party's location and obscuring the giant's location to the party. A battle ensued and a combination of lucky shots, planning ahead, and a well placed Spike growth finally put an end to the Fomorian.  The party looted its corpse as well as took its eyes for some future endeavor yet to be decided. 
The party is then transported back to the summer court and offered a place to rest while they make preparations for The Dream Warriors to gain access to the artifact they have in their possession. The party is led to a quiet chamber within the court where they are given vine hammocks to take their rest. And that's where we'll pick up next time!

Fomorian - Giant cursed being. The end of its existence is a kindness for all. 

The Seelie Court

A Satyr/elf seated at the right hand of Queen Titania - her consort? protector?
A giant tree person (treant) - Lumbering and soft spoken - physically brought the party into the court
A Green Knight - Armor adorned with leaves and ivy - seeming to be made of the forest itself. Human (?)
A Satyr - quiet but even tempered
A group of Fairies - appearing as tiny balls of light among the court
A Centaur - Proud and valiant looking. Seems to have the respect of the animal companions
A Giant Winged Unicorn - Large and magnificent. Also seems to command the respect of the animal companions.
Unknown Female Eladrin - Emissary and Herald of Queen Titania. Seems to do all the talking for her (What's up with that?)
