In Mount Cashell
You enter the City and see there has been a lot of destruction wrought by the previous attack. Most of the buildings are still standing in tact but there are definite scars seen throughout the city. The City guard presence has increased since you last were here. There is a somber mood in the air amongst the populace. There was probably some loss of life.
Where would you like to head from here?
Rosalind can deliver a report about the movements of the Avatars,
"The entire country is in an uproar over these things. They're moving about causing mass destruction and spreading their disease.
Melduinn is a ruin. Its entire populace is either dead or infected. They appear to be the ones who attacked the city. It appears Lord Sommerset was trying to amass a force of these things to wreak havoc. I can only guess he and a few other leaders were serving the dark god all along. The attack seemed to be coordinated with Vaarn's attack on the city council. They must have been working together. Speaking of, What of Vaarn and Ailec? Have you investigated yet?
My Scouts have only seen 2. One moving North in the Elder Isle, Heading in the direction of the prison up there. The Other was repelled by the forces in Tirasa and is moving in the Western half of the country. Not far from the Sylvaneth Forest.
Its method of action seems to be spreading its plague and raising up high level demons where ever it can. It is very strong but If it meets significant resistance, it retreats. Which leads me to believe these things are not unkillable. If it escapes to preserve its wellbeing, that means it's made of flesh and flesh can be destroyed. This is good news for us. Bad news is It has the ability to Teleport which makes tracking it somewhat difficult. That's all the information I have at the moment. I'd get to the forest or the prison and see what you can ascertain."
City Council
As you are making your way in the city, you hear a familiar gruff voice with an unmistakable accent
"Hello My Friends."
It is Inspector Deveraux. He is alone.
"Please I must ask you to come with me. You are not in trouble I assure you. The council would like a word with you."
As you are walking along
"An assassination attempt was made on the governing body of this city a few days ago. An attempt, my reports tell me, that was foiled by your group. I am told you destroyed the attacker and also tended to the wounds of several dignitaries injured during the incident. One of which is my sister, Adele. I always argued with her about which of our careers was more dangerous, Politics or Policing. It seems we got our answer, eh?"
He turns to you and looks at you all
"You saved my sister. My only family. For that I am forever grateful. I put in word to my superiors that you are no longer suspects in my investigations. Any pending charges against you are dropped and the cases are hereby marked closed.
I do this as my way of thanking you for what you did, but let me be perfectly clear:
If you cause any more problems in my city, if i hear any report involving any of you, You WILL be charged for your crimes and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. And I am not responsible for what happens to you after that. çava?"

You are brought through the center doors and led into the large meeting chamber. Where you see the same political officials from a couple of days ago gathered around in the chamber. They stand and greet you.

We are willing to offer one such home to your group. To own and use as you see fit. With land ownership comes titles as well. You shall all be appointed Lords and Ladies of Auldsod. These titles will not hold much water until We can establish our country and solidify our government. But you will have say and influence over its construction and optimization once we do. All the dignities and responsibilities that come with Nobility. With our thanks"

And you are led out of the council chambers.
Eämmon stays behind and you hear the council pick up again.
"And so Mr. Eämmon Falshire, It is with a heavy heart that I charge you with

4 counts of assault by magical means of a city guard
3 counts of inciting riot and unrest
12 counts of resisting arrest
The sentence for this is normally a year in the city jail however given your history of philanthropy and generosity to our great city I do not wish to impose such a heavy sentence. But you have violated the law and I must serve out justice first and foremost. Therefore I sentence you to two months in the city jail for these crimes.
And Fine you 500 Gold for your crimes which can be paid as bail for time served.
