You are exiting the Abraxios Academy with your red haired demonologist. The streets of Tirasa bustling with activity of mages going about their day conducting business and trade.
"Well Upon my initial scouting, there seem to be only two taverns of note in the city. The Lady's Brand, and the Angry Maiden. What is your preference?"
You head to the tavern of your choice. Inside you find a small stone walled tavern Dim candlelight illuminates the dark intereior. (Very reminiscent of Hogsmeade.) There's an elf, at one table reading from a tome and stirring a bowl of soup. However the spoon that is stirring is floating on its own as if being controlled by something else.
The far corner you can see a group of students from the academy. Late teens, early 20's fresh faced. Having drinks and slowly getting tipsy. They seem to be enjoying themselves.
2 Elderly humans sit in another corner sipping what appears to be brandy and having a quiet conversation you can't make out.
"Ah this might do nicely. Lets find a quiet corner of our own shall we?"
You find a cozy booth away from the other groups in the tavern. Sebastian waves over the server and after a moment a human server comes over and he orders
"Good day my lady. I'll have:
Braised beef and pears with ginger (2gp)
Baked pheasant with leeks (2gp)
Honey braised boar ribs (8sp)
A bowl of Venison and bean stew (3sp)
And a bottle of your Wild Orchid Wine and a mug of Bacon Beer.(10gp/5sp)
That's for me, and what would you all like?
Pause to order food. He will buy the food.
He will shrug off any conversation until the food is brought out.
"Such serious matters can't be discussed on an empty stomach. Perhaps you could tell me about yourselves while we wait?"
Finally the food and drinks are brought out on several serving platters and he begins eating.
Summoning a Demon
"You wish to summon a demon? To interrogate it? It's quite a feat but Yes I am game. It will take a fair bit of planning though. We can't just go bumbling into it like a bunch of bleary eyed blockheads. No, we need to be ready in case things go wrong...."
He begins pacing in front of you looking each of you up and down.
"hmm indeed. Mistwal, you can be the summoner. I detest violence so I wouldn't be able to find fresh blood. Arctuwus, you can cast zone of truth? Do that, that will be most helpful. Romaia, Devilish girl. You shall have banishment ready, in case things go shiteways. Does anyone know the Hold Monster spell? No well then we'll have to find someone that does (Or use the ring of spell storing). The rest of you? My other paladan friend should be standing nearby ready to smite the creature should things go wrong. And I will need one or two of you to be the interrogators. Ask it what you wish to know. I will have detect thoughts cast to test wether it is avoiding questions. And those that are left? weapons at the ready and watch our backs!
It will require two things. We need privacy. Somewhere quiet where we will not be disturbed and no one will... get curious and intrude. This is for everyone's safety.
And as stated, we will need Blood from someone who recently was killed. Within the past 24 hours I believe it has to be. Unfortunately this is the only way to perform this spell successfully.
You recall in your travels over this past year that every time someone summoned a demon it was preceded by a person or humanoid being killed violently and their blood being used to summon.
What will the players use for privacy and how will they come across blood.
Ukko will take a break from the party to catch up with some professors at the Academy
There is an unused basement classroom in the Abraxios Academy that Sebastian will suggest. They will get in trouble with the Academy if they do the ritual here.
They can rent a room at the inn to perform the ritual.
They can find someone renting their basement out for 14gp per month. Ezra Cotton a male Halfling can be found.
Upon gathering the items, Sebastian begins to pour the vial out onto the floor while muttering something in Abyssal. The blood moves along the grooves of the floor until it forms a complete circle, within this circle you watch as different symbols form out of the blood eventually combining into one large symbol out of which emerges this familiar monstrosity from the Abyss. Tell tale buzzing begins to fill the room. (Con saves for everyone) as It fully invades this world it begins floating on small insect like wings.
Disgusting Creature. Vile wretches of the abyss. Your friends are alright, they are merely sleeping. You there! My friends here have some questions for you. You're going to answer them to the best of your ability. A-alright?"
The creature lets out a begrudging grunt as it turns to look at you.

What is he searching for:
A demon. A weapon. Once he finds it, he's bringing it and the wrath of the Abyss down on this world. And then the degenerate fey and the self righteous celestials. Since he can't be freed from his prison,
He's out for Revenge. hahah and there's nothing you can do. You can't find him down there, not till he's ready to be found. And once he is, he's bringing his war here." (Charisma saving throw).
A look of terror comes over Sebastian's face
"Good lord, he's broken free of my bonds. be on your guard.
All the while, the demon is making charisma saving throws to be free from Sebastian's control. If he does get free, he will raise up another Chasme and attack the party
If it breaks free, It will attack the party and Take Stronghorn and Baphomet Phillip to the Abyss!
How will the players track them?
