Session 31 - When Last We Met - 4/17/23

General Summary

When last we met, the party entreated entrance to the Chosen Sage Bathhouse. Spreading their coin where ever they can in a hope of creating an alibi for themselves. Tensi speaks to the owner, a woman named Kate who informs them that as long as their group is generous with their coin, She will keep their visit discrete as possible. So they rent two rooms for the night. Tensi's coming with a halfling companion for the night by the name of Adelaide. They imbibe many drinks and enjoy a relaxed evening amid the debaucherous chaos of the Chosen sage.
They arise the next morning and head straight to the Ebon Curtain Hall, eager to meet their traveling companions. Instead they find a city guard named Inspector Francois who questions the party's whereabouts on the previous evening. Apparently their group was described by witnesses to the events of the previous night. The group swears up and down they spent the entire night in the Chosen Sage bathhouse. Francois takes his leave to head straight there to investigate their story.
In the meantime, The two knights of the faithful Dominion make themselves known. And the party heads off to the cliffs. In the day's long ride there, the party sees the dream that brought them to the country in the first place as symbols and portents begin falling into place.
Finally they arrive to the cliffs of Lommond and eventually stumble upon a group of cultists sacrificing people outside a freshly opened burial cairn. The party wastes no time and engages the evil doers as they summon several demons to aid them in their fight. After a harrowing ordeal, They deal with the cultists and demonic entities at the cliff site. Now they face an open burial cairn, and whatever dangers lay within. And that's where we'll pick up next time!
