Military action

Orcs and Easterners ally and invade the west.

Orcs attack the northern cities, destroying most of the Makeesa valley, take and sack Sigmund’s Fork, then get bogged down in a long bitter war with the Elves and Sanaco. They also attack Regelsburg and the lands around the Bright River. James takes an army into the Bright valley, driving back the Orcs there, then marches toward Farmington - he is killed in battle in a major battle south of Farmington. Peter decisively defeats the southern Orcs in 1162, then moves north, though not as vigorously as James had. Because of this, though the Orcs are destroyed, so are the military forces of the Elves and Indians. Both become minor frontier populations from this point on.
