Solavore Suit
The Solavore suit is a full-body armor piece of equipment used and known fairly well by the Ryclin race, named after the Solavore occupation that was in most need of a gear-piece like this. There are a few flexible models, and customizations, but the suit is often standardized to a unisex fit for those without strong bodily altering features (like wide head-hoods, or dorsal finned tails), and tends to most often mass-produce in a dark black-blue navy coloration. The suit hosts easy segmentation along the tail for full flexibility, and collapsible departments for climbing toe-claws. Helmed ears are pressed in, only showing as little nodes, but compensate with audio-amplifying sensory.
There is an armored segmented system of little horizontal door-latches that come apart with gentle inner force, and an underpadded mesh layer to the suit underneath. Once the ryclin eats and fills out a temporarily larger stomach, the suit compensates room by barging aside the segmented latches, and the mesh fiber is sewn so that it has a large quantity to stretch and still provide some small protection. If the suit is fitted right, the ryclin would hypothetically have to eat near their capacity before the suit itself begins to part completely and lose its fit. Mechanics & Inner Workings
The suit is normally broken up into two separable components before worn - Top & bottom, or shirt & pants. The top slips on like an armored shirt, connected to the gloves. The collar hosts a switch to draw out, or retract the helmeting system, which mostly unfolds from the back. The bottom works like pants with a limp tail piece that only clamps down later. Once on, the tail can be slipped into place from a ring at the base, where the rest will follow and latch around the tail in segmented pieces that allow movement. The top and bottom connect through buckle-clips at the waist. Most proficient users get the pants on first, and can sometimes get the top to slide right into the buckle-latches. Operating most suit functions comes between software mods, and a computer at the wrist or palm, with functions able and working whenever the suit's lights are on.
Significance
Vital to roles of numerous bold ryclin duties, with uses ranging from remote area, to Crashers, occasional space use, and most obviously for Bounty Hunter Solavores. Solavore suits are basically the best ryclin wear for simultaneous durability & flexibility. They're favored for also providing moddable content, comforting wear, and still allows for basic functions from communications to even taking heavier meals. Solavores are virtually uniformed all-around in it, while others in risky positions struggle to find an equally qualifying suit of worth.
