Sm!ley Rylie

Also sometimes called Sm!ley Riley, this is the software used unanimously to communicate emotions across ryclin, especially when they communicate with other species. Its integrated as standard over most ryclin not settled into strict keeper regimes. Whether they go into politics, or bounty hunting, they have likely come across this technology that allows one to impose emotions on the visor or outward mask portion. This technology goes into either rotational attachable masks, or the helmets of larger items like the Solavore Suit. Its issues as standard to most senators, solavores, and crashers. Bio-code monks are almost unique in holding their own variant, often with emotions told exclusively through goggle lens and coloration, refusing the use of the normal masks while still fulfilling its ideals.   The tech works with a combination of facial reading, heart signature, and a subtle switch to react or hold. Ryclins may choose to reserve their real emotions or hold a happy frame if they wish to. In more advanced instances, they may manually select and project a (likely fake) expression. Common expressions are meant to be understood by the bulk of races, and tend to resemble common question and exclaiming marks, color tones, and smiles or frowns. In some cases these are made with compromises towards other races, like noticing the exclamation point looks close to a raised vyllk raptor's crest for more alarming or enthused projection.

Social Impact

While eerie and a little alien at first glance, they have also brought some laughter and amusement. In addition, even those very familiar with ryclin, have a sense of trust with the masks on as this suggests they are not actively ready to feed without taking the additional worrisome step of removing the mask or helmet.
