Qyozmite (Kē-yăz-mayt)
Qyozmites are a more ambiguous species of foreign Vahakin-class species known in parts of the omniverse, and well-established as potential traders in the OA. They are often held in low regard as stingy high-tech capitalists with things of good value and craft, but outrageous pricing gouging tendencies. Its believed a large part of their pricing comes from a system of xeno-tarrifs, but at times this has been exasperated when applied between their own colonies or taxation, whereas more self-reliant and domestic populations live by cheap or luxury conveniences within post-scarcity conditions. They occasionally stake a claim or 'special' alliance with other species, but often bring a sense of conflict with them.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Short creatures often with skin seen in hues between green, turquoise, rocky gray, faded clay, and in rare cases more purple or violet tones. They have large black eyes, and wide mouths, over heads with a short and subtly rounded snout, some remarking a bit close to a frog-like head. They have six long fingers on their hands, but only four even and spaced toes. Their arms are often slender and wiry even on heavier set bodies, though a vast amount of qyozmites don't attain a strong dynamic body build, and often hold to a stout small frame with a slightly bulging belly and wide shoulder span. Their sexual differences are almost in a hermaphroditic field, where most are considered 'males' or adjacent until partnering with another. In agreed relations, a 'male' will undergo a transformation into a female that carries this phase in tandem with their first pregnancy. Females develop breast-like sacs, but these are actually eggs that eventually break from the body. Under this state, females appear thinner in the waist especially during pregnancy. Contrary to most bipeds, they have no birthing function nor differences in the hips or pelvis region.
Dietary Needs and Habits
A great deal of their food preferances are highly synthetic. They rarely ever eat real meats and most plant and fiber material is processed beyond recognition. In a lot of cases they can be seen eating forms of gelatin, chewable cubes, gummies, or in rare cases a special variety of filled breading. They adore other culture's teas, and sometimes coffee and licore for liquid diets, but rarely ingest much. Their usual choice of drink is either a type of water, or a strange silvery viscous fluid they make called Gravity Serum (Grum in short) that has been a popular dietary choice since leaving their home solar system.
