Protosiiva

More commonly called a sprellia by ongoing use around the locals of Caotor. These are semi-speculative branch of an ancient Kasar race, essentially part of the same genetic root K'siiva derived from. However its suspected this was a rouge branch, or severed by some forgotten civil war. Their most lingering influence is within Caotor, where they seemed to have had a confused landing, and scrambled to survive the odd wilds. Its unknown how long they wallowed there, but its believed in a late bid to prove a chain of beneficial diverse uplifting strategies that a Tharsnian presence interfered and promoted them to evolve in a branching set of unusual circumstance.
In time, the Tharsnians with some aid or agreement of the protosiiva themselves, eventually concluded these numerous forms that would call themselves all Sprell...
Vhorn Sprell: A strange quadrupedal asexual terrestrial with three pairs of limbs and a torso extended above their leg base. They've forsaken gendered parts, not too unlike K'siiva, but went more extreme for a unisex egg-laying race that churned out eggs from excessive food proteins. This sprell would go on to become the dominant form across Caotor.
Lemprell: Modeled more after primates and Vhorn, Lemsprell are humanoids with the most basic oval head shape, and lacking much snout definition. They have the smallest Sprell tail, but four arms, and a hardy UV-tolerant carapace. They have low magic capability, but high perception of it. Aside from sight, they have mostly poor senses.
Aesprell: Keeping the protosiiva's long serpentine base, the Aesprell traded its arms for massive winged membranes with special lung chambers. They can swell the pockets and fly up into the air, making quick swooping notions, and even using tiny residual little pincer hands for smaller tool assistance. They are still intelligent, but have lost nearly all independent culture. As flyers they have the most dense scales and UV protection, but are sometimes hunted for it.
Nomma Sprell: A low intelligence sprell with a long body and neck, armored back and scalp, and a beak, primarily a herbivore by nature. Its tail often grows fat over time and is cut off by the Vhorn and some Lemprell as a source of good food.

Basic Information

Anatomy

At its base form, the protosiiva was practically a large serpent with poorly coordinated hands and legs. It had adapted a sensitivity to aura and even water across its life with good sensory feelings. It could manipulate technology, but during the fall to Caotor the heavy UV wasn't something their scales entirely adapted to, and some of their tech was lost, slowing progress until the Tharsnians helped.

Designated roughly as extinct, though sightings are said to be rare and still present in some parts of Caotor. Its believed they're however devolved from the past.
