Captain Katie Grizelclaw
Katie is a Vanguard lioness, and one of the core captains to lead The Golden Spears group. Born and raised in the Grizelclaw clan, carrying a name passed down from a tenacious lord of the mad era, she saw more potential in steering justice and fights in the outside influences. She met with a Vanguard outpost early on, and began finding herself on a long path to forming the team she runs. Assunta has become both a friend, and her trusty co-captain, but unlike her, Katie prefers to rule from a kinder outside, and feels like compassion and reason goes further than blunt abrassiveness. Yet still seeing the use and nature in it, she has allowed Assunta to be more abbrasive, and celebrates it to an extent. As such she's been loosely designated the 'nice leader' of the team. She's complicated her situation a bit by carrying through an unintended pregnancy in her mid-career, and inherited a twin set of tigon kittens she now cares for and tries to match a babysitter to when she's got to take a job.
