Thornwall Village Council

Advisory body to the Mayor and the Forester. The Mayor and Forester have final authority in their domains (except for the appointment of deputies and woodwards which the Council must approve), but the support of the Council is politically very important for running Thornwall and its hinterland.
Council members are elected every five years. Mayors every two years.
