Karvin Septenrius (a.k.a. The Hostage Prince)
Prince Karvin (born Karvin Septenrius) is the firstborn son of King Tyran I and the heir apparent to the throne of the Kingdom of Karvin. Despite being closely tied to the Karvinian throne, Prince Karvin spent a significant portion of his childhood as a hostage of the Hui-San empire as an outcome of the Great Hemispheric War, earning him the nickname "the Hostage Prince."

Prince Karvin was born to parents prince and princess Tyran and Eva in 602 c.e. Karvin was groomed from birth as a future king, as such his childhood was one of strict discipline and hardship. Despite this Karvin also enjoyed the spoils and virtue of noble life. This changed however, as during the first battle of Karsmouth in 612 c.e. Prince Karvin was captured by a force of Hui-Sani soldiers and held captive by the Hui-San Empire until his return could be organized in 617 c.e. The return of the prince was very much approved by the general public, however ever since his return to the kingdom, the Prince has largely kept away from the musings of the nobility and his family, preferring to stay inside the Karsmouthian residence of Beatrice House. It is unknown when, if ever, the heir will be granted the traditional title of Duke of Lowermoor by his father.
