After one of his experiments reaches success, the young lord finds himself in deserate need of sponsoring and support from Fortern's military.
Armed with his prototype, he and a servant make their way to the battlefield of the the Cleaving Hills, where he expects to find a defeated general enraged by the Heroes' incompetence.
