Auxanops

A species of large avians encountered in the moutains at the foot of the Gurdy Range. Their name means "eye grower" in Old Imperial, it denotes how their shiny eyes close spherically, making it appear as though they swell and contract.
Auxanops are a delicacy, as well as docile monsters but are hard to breed. They are independant roamers used to having a large area to patrol and hunt in.
