Erokris (Aero-kris)

Role

Erokris is the elemental god of water, healing and the moon. She governs the ebb and flow of the seas and the position of the moon to the earth. She is a friend to all preservers of life and a fierce enemy to all those that seek to destroy, torture or kill.

Dogma

Erokris teaches respect for all life and the tending of such life is a responsibility that all her followers must adhere to. However, part of this responsibility is the preservation of life even against mortal threats and as such all of Deidren's clergy understand that while the waters of life give they too can take away and no follower of Erokris is beyond protecting life even with death.

Depiction

Erokris is commonly depicted as either a woman made from a flowing wave or a beautiful sea green-skinned woman with flowing water for hair. Her temples almost always have a water motif with expansive fountains, canals and other water-works. She is also commonly depicted as healing the wounded or the injured.

Relations

Erokris shares very good relations with Deidren as both of them share a love for preserving life and Erokris is also on good terms with Tyrississ whom shares the realm above her seas. Erokris is in a constant state of war with Kyrisor who is her arch rival and is also at odds with Chas-Rim who opposes her desire to ease the pain and suffering of the world.
