Deidren (Dee-dren)

Neutral Good Goddess of Life, Nature and Rebirth

Role

Deidren is the halfling deity of nature and balance. She governs the growth and renewal of the plants through the seasons and the renewal of life. She knows that life is a proper balance and that death is also a natural part of the balance in the world.

Dogma

Deidren's teachings revolve around the natural world and living in balance with it. Erokris teaches all her clergy that when you are in balance with the world of nature the rest of the world will fall into balance with you. Deidren also teaches respect for the world and that we only take what we need and never harm the wild for spite or sport.

Depiction

Deidren is usually depicted as a halfling woman with a healthy smile and auburn hair. She carries her trademark sickle in one hand and usually a bouquet of flowers or a sheath of wheat or corn in her other hand. She is also usually depicted upon a forest motif with nature as the central theme.

Relations

Deidren is allied with Teverus whose life giving sun feeds her plants and with Erokris whose waters bring fresh renewal to the world. She is at odds with Kyrisor for his fire and destruction and Kaleera and Pelraxxus for their corruption of the natural world.
