Joong is a Native Martian who emigrated to Earth Orbit for better opportunities in 2282 after the Pacific Asia Coalition's invasion of Mars. He eventually found work on an Orbital Trawler that happened to be near Most Mira Station - Мост Мира Станция on the day of the attack. Joong’s trawler rushed to aid in the evacuation, matching speed with the rapidly and erratically rotating habitation arms. Joong personally rescued more than three dozen Miran victims. In the years that followed, however, Joong was the victim of harassment and violent hate crimes because of the Martian involvement in the attacks.
