Hospital Ship

Hospital Ships are specialized vessels with a wide array of medical equipment. Hospital Ships are usually dispatched to the vicinity of a major conflict or catastrophe where mass casualties are expected. These are especially useful on planets and stations where there is little to no medical infrastructure. Hospital Ships are usually recognized internationally as unacceptable military targets.
One key feature on most hospital ships is the presence of several rotating sections which contain operating rooms, patient housing, and therapy gymnasiums. The rotating sections can be spun at different velocities to simulate different gravity levels based on the needs of each patient. For instance, Hospital Ships in orbit of Mars may spin one section at 1g for Earthborn patients and another at 0.38g for Martians.
