Wood-Sung House

Wood-sung houses are buildings made of a single living tree fashioned via magic into a habitable dwelling, in a process that takes well over a century. They are the quintessential example of Wood Elf architecture.

Execution

The future owners of the building either plant a tree in their desired spot or choose a relatively young tree already growing in their desired location. Starting from an already planted tree tends to make the process a few decades quicker, but allows for less flexibility in the structure, as the tree's spirit has already had some chance to take root.

Participants

Wood-sung houses are crafted by special Druid-architects called woodsingers. They are almost always of Elf descent, as most other races do not live long enough to see even a single wood-sung home through to its completion.
