Wellspring

A wellspring is a specialized interplanar portal that reaches into the Ethereal Plane to draw magic from ley lines. This magic enhances the abilities of the spellcasters next to the wellspring, making magic significantly easier, less costly, and more powerful.

Wellsprings are extremely rare, given that they require a specially enchanted pickaxe as well as the skill of a master Transmuter, Conjurer, or Artificer to create.
