Mongwori
A mongwori is a rare medallion with divination powers entrusted to the Naengwutë of upper Scalados, who ruled mostly during the Age of Integrity.
The mongwori permanently tints the dreams of its bearers in a spectrum of colors that denote degrees of good or ill fortune. The Elvish word "rossolórë," meaning a portent of doom, comes from the color that foretold the most danger for the bearer.
Most mongworë were stolen, destroyed, or lost in the War of Great Sorrow and the fallout afterwards. A vanishing few are rumored to survive within the High Elf Diaspora. The specific magics involved in their creation, though believed to be related to the Elven Jewelrymaking tradition, have long since been lost.
