Luciferan Synod
The Luciferan Synod is a Druid circle associated with the deep caves of the city of Dancamort. It takes its name from Lucifera, the bioluminescent slime molds that give the underground city its signature glow.
Culture
Members of the Luciferan Synod can often be recognized by their dark green robes, which tend to be looser and more modest than most fashionable Dancamortian clothing. Like many druids, they often wear sprigs of plants as accessories; however, the circlets, corsages, and boutionneres they make for themselves include mushrooms, plucked in such a way that they retain their bioluminescence.
Public Agenda
The Luciferan Synod are among the Circles of Spores, and so have a particular affinity for fungi, as well as for maintaining the cycle of life and death. They work closely with the Company of Hades to maintain the plants in the Conservatory of Souls and manage decomposition and decay within the Hadesian Catacombs.
