Césare Verdini
Don Césare Verdini was the eldest son of Giovanni Verdini. He was a Paladin of Morigana known for his skill with the rapier and his ruthlessness in battle.
Césare trained under the battlemasters of Kyolondë and wielded a fine elven sword said to have been crafted in the city of Bjália. He then spent several decades in the royal guard of Archvale, where he rose to the rank of captain before returning to his family in Cantonova.
While in Cantonova, Césare kept a relatively low public profile, unlike many of his family members. He was notorious in certain circles for seducing young, attractive men at the rate his father more famously seduced women; however, no notable scandals arose due to his casanova behavior, and none of his ex-lovers ever willingly spoke to Cantonovan officials about the family's illicit activity.
In November Y1110, he got into an altercation with the Dragonslayers of Cantonova at one of his family's casinos, the Black Diamond Club of the Via Verenestra. Tosca Polymorphed him into a turtle and delivered him to the custody of Spymaster Gepopo, where he remained for several months. However, he somehow escaped to challenge the Dragonslayers again at the Battle of the Opera House, commanding a force of kobolds as well as the blue dragon under his family's control. He died in the battle, and his sword is currently held in the private collection of the Royal Institute of Cantonova.
