Blades of Story and Song
The Blades of Story and Song are a set of elven swords forged in the early Y500s in the Church of the Solar Forge by Roland Ayannos, son of Aloïs Ayannos.
The blades are a set of one katana and one wakizashi, forged in Erdelanian steel with ebony handles and gold inlay. The Blade of Song (the wakizashi) features Elvish musical notation for an ancient Bjálian hymn in praise of Bahamut, with noteheads of purple sapphire. The Blade of Story (the katana) is inscribed with the lyrics to the hymn, and has a large loronyx set at the end of the hilt.
