The Intercessor

The Intercessor is a member of the human-form Ambassador caste of the Grakaenaioi. Although the Grakaenaioi do not have genders, he is generally treated as male by the humans who interact with him. He acts as head of the Ambassador caste. His primary responsibility is bringing new Essies before the Queen Mother as part of the treaty with the Omoia Alliance. He recently made history as the first ever Grakaenaios to be elected to public office in the human government. He is the Chairman of the Interspecies Affairs Division.

Many people are angered that a foreigner can hold governmental office, but the majority of people are in favor of him. He has established a history of goodwill with humans due to his role in helping to negotiate the Treaty of Meritas.
