Skodi

The Great Being of Education

Skodi is a human that acted as the first magical academic of the balahran tribes. They had learned much from the other civilizations, but it was the human Icons and the Champions of the Great Cores that Skodi had learned the most. Somek, the Icon of Death, and Gerald Gildari, the Champion of Learning, both had provided knowledge and insight upon Skodi. As Skodi had learned more of the intricacies of magic and the planes themselves, They had learned that the balahran were incapable of gaining marks or callings as their bodies were infused with conflicting mana from both the Thirteen and the Alliance of Scales. With the assistance of the other pantheons, Skodi had managed to fabricate some of the first blueprints for the Towers alongside Jakob, the Champion of Dungeons, so the mana leaving them would allow future balahran lineages to acclimate to marks and callings. Their mount is recognized as being a Dire Wolf.

Dogma

Skodi is a diligent Being. Their upbringing had given Them the resources needed to become a scholar on behalf of the balahran tribes. With this, They had become a symbol to them. One of great knowledge, but also a caretaker for the overworked scribes and archivists. They would seek out those that struggled with their studies and assist as best as They can.

Gaining Favor or Redemption

Balahran worshippers of the Alliance of Scales do not have to seek redemption from them as their faith is not gifted, but taken. Skodi’s favor is gained through the pursuit of knowledge, but not necessarily the accruing of it. The act of even trying to pursue learning is enough for Skodi to give Their favor.

Interactions with the World

Skodi influences the actions of Their worshippers through guidance. Skodi’s guidance upon Their worshippers is everything can be taught, and anything can be learned. This started as teaching the basic principles of life to the balahran and with those principles expand on the knowledge of the tribe, but it developed into spreading the principles of life and magic to other civilizations in hopes that their experiences can build a union amongst the other cultures and knowledge can be shared. And thus, Skodi provides from their educational endeavors.
