Ryota
The Icon of Weather
Ryota, also known as the Storm Herald, is a short, thin human with dark brown armor that is accented with silver inlays of gales across His legs, waves crashing on the shores of His fists, and lightning cascading across the top of His dark helmet. Ryota is known for His constant emotional changes and quick judgments. That a person can change just as fast as the weather can, and sometimes that behavior is predictable. An event that equates this is the loss of Scarlet and Saavolus as this caused Ryota to try and adapt to every situation in hopes that He could be prepared for the eventuality that He could lose someone again. His mount is recognized as being a Warhorse.
Dogma
Ryota is a chaotic icon. His chaotic nature is due to what He lost, but it is so then His unpredictability can aid in preparing Him for any eventuality. One must always keep the enemy guessing as the clouds can darken when not watched carefully. Ryota, however, is predictable to a degree. If one truly pays close attention to the weather then they will be made aware that Ryota only changes when the time requires it.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
When the weather becomes harsh and you respect it, then favor is gained. However, if you were to challenge Ryota's authority, then you will lose favor. The means of redemption is too great for most mortals, as this requires one to predict, and meditate during, a natural disaster. Allowing your body to be a conduit of Ryota and letting His will crash around you. Survival is your penance.
Interactions with the world
Ryota is the embodiment of the unpredictability of the weather. More importantly, this also reflects the unpredictability of life. Ryota changes the weather to fit the circumstances that best suit the time. And if one is not careful in the presence of a worshipper of Ryota, they may be the cause of a great disaster. There are false rumors that the Great Collapse was caused by Ryota due to a dwarf slighting the Icon. Others like to say that the Cloudcaller mark is Ryota choosing His best disciples. No matter what, this doesn't change the fact that Ryota is worshipped by all Humans at some point in their lives.
