Scarlet
The Icon of Sacrifice
Scarlet, also known as the Hells’ Watcher, is a pale, red-haired knight with red and gray armor adorning Her impressive physique. Scarlet, though named as a watcher of the Hells, is deemed so only by what She had accomplished during Her time as a mortal. When Scarlet traveled Omen, She became a martyr for the Icon of Resilience, Saavolus. Saavolus went into the Hells to save Her, but sadly She was slain. This spurred Saavolus in His crusade to aid the other deities, and Scarlet is recognized for Her sacrifice. Her mount is recognized as being a Warhorse.
Dogma
Scarlet is a regimented Icon that believes in all sacrifices as necessary for the greater good. To many soldiers and guards, Scarlet is the embodiment of the sworn duty of the position and the cost that can come with it. To many heroes and adventurers, Scarlet represents the unwavering courage to delve into some of the most damned places to achieve your goals. To all, She is a representation of using your life to its fullest, and to not waste a single drop of time you have.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
Those that take selfless actions are those that are in the favor of Scarlet. However, those that choose selfish actions that harm/hinder those around them are considered unfavorable to Scarlet's sphere of influence. The redemption needed requires the one seeking atonement to aid a cause with the same unwavering devotion Scarlet has done. To do this is to truly regain Her favor.
Interactions with the world
Scarlet is as Her title suggests, the Watcher of the Hells. Thus, when She does notice the actions of those on Omen, She is apt to reward those that have dedicated themselves and have accepted the risks that come with their daily lives. Sacrifice to Her is something not just within the confines of war, but in the daily lives of humans. New mothers, laborers, soldiers, adventurers, and martyrs are all ones that in some way pay homage to Scarlet and Her sacrifices.
