Rubat

The Great Dragon of Trust

Rubat is a crystal gemstone dragon that actively wandered through the world of Xilunwa. Rubat had always been one to be lost in new interactions. And had been subsequently used in each one of them. They never stopped having faith in those around them until one day they met a goblin that was wanting to sell their wares. Rubat had been a great asset to this goblin, and in the long line of manipulators, used Rubat’s expertise in magic item identification and gemstone appraisal to peddle their wares. Eventually, over the course of a few months, Rubat was able to find Their freedom through the aid of true friends. Lamina Snow, the Great Dragon of Knowledge, alongside Brys, the Great Being of Travel, came to release Rubat of Their bonds. Their mount is recognized as being a Crystalline Drake.

Dogma

Rubat can be described as a naive dragon, but this is due to Their ignorance of others’ intentions. They actively trust others, regardless of background or circumstances. This is due to Them not understanding the purpose of lying or being untrustworthy. Rubat is genuinely curious about the actions of others, and has been known to delve too far into other’s problems until they become Their own.

Gaining Favor or Redemption

Balahran worshippers of the Alliance of Scales do not have to seek redemption from them as their faith is not gifted, but taken. Rubat’s favor is one that is easily gained. Trust, though a precious resource to many, is one that worshippers of Rubat are more willing to relinquish. However, Rubat has always done so through naivete, but Their worshippers do so because they prefer to build relationships and alliances on trust before anything else.

Interactions with the World

Rubat influences the actions of Their worshippers through guidance. Rubat’s guidance upon Their worshippers is having faith in others. This was the influence Rubat had provided to the other members of the Alliance of Scales. Lamina and Mani were both pleaded with to trust the balahran peoples with the true underlying powers of faith. And thus, Rubat provides the benefits of faith.
