Paul Nightfinder
The Divine Idol of Magic
Paul is a porcelain-skinned Male High Elf with shadowed hair and sapphire eyes. He is usually depicted wearing silken robes of varying colors that represent the elemental planes, with scintillating patterns that are seemingly portals to those very planes. The Divine Idol HImself is often represented in watercolor paintings and scrimshaw carvings. Almost all of these carvings are representative of His guidance in the use of magic as opposed to His application of magic. His mount is recognized as being a Vello Stone Warhorse.
Dogma
Paul is a witty, yet absentminded Idol. Paul has gathered a lot of His prowess in Magic through the observation and aid of His close council of confidants. Though their identities are lost in scriptures involving Paul, it is their wide range of abilities and experiences that have molded how Paul viewed and applied magic. With this, Paul has influenced the ability to awaken items and give them a magical presence. Each item being a guide on the journey it has taken and what has influenced its magical properties. This is akin to how Paul views His inner circle as they are the closest family He has ever had.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
Paul is very apt to give credit and prestige to those that have managed to exhibit effort in their struggles and triumphs. With this in mind, usually it is through magical applications that Paul will provide favor upon His worshippers. Losing favor, however, is done through not the absence of magic, but the absence of family. To forsake one’s family for selfish ideals is against Paul’s own ideology and will cause a loss of favor. Redemption is even more drastic, as redemption is found through new life. And thus, this is found through the loss of one’s own life and rebirth through a contingent magic.
