High Elf
The High Elves , also known as Aredhel (Singular) or Aredhil (Plural) in the elvish language, are recognized as the most common elf ethnicity to be seen around the world of Omen, or Omedai as they refer to it. Thus, it is vital to realize that the description of a High Elf and their culture has become synonimous with the Elven species as a whole, as perceived by the other races inhabiting Omedai.
Traits of a High Elf
As an Elf, they have the following traits:
Elves maintain roundabout the same qualities as humans, even though they weigh less.
Elves have shown a distinct immunity to magical sleep spells and other stimuli. This is probably due to their mental training and trances.
Elves are capable of seeing twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. Unlike dwarves, they can still see colors and details with this keen eyesight.
Elves have access to training and exposure with longswords, rapiers, longbows, shortbows, and firearms. In doing so, it isn’t hard for an elf to learn how to use these by the time they become adventurers.
Elves are so observant of their surroundings that if they pass by a secret passage, they have a chance of stumbling upon that passage. It really depends on whether or not they are willing to undergo that venture into the unknown.
Elves are capable of integrating themselves amongst different people, and thus able to learn different languages.
Additionally, High Elves possess the following traits:
High Elves, being the most common of the elves, have shown to be very nimble and elegant with their movements. As such, high elves are considered to have a higher dexterity, however they are rather fragile.
