Nezmin

The Embodiment of Monsters

Nezmin was an exiled gnome that had gained powers from Gthuldrullah, the Embodiment of the Unknown. This pact had rendered Him disfigured and in constant pain. Throughout His travels, He eventually stumbled across a few individuals, one of which being Niclaus, the Embodiment of Survival, and taught Him the ways of the outside world. Eventually, as Nezmin sought to aid His allies He had made friends with, Caladon, the Immortal Idol of Vengeance and Pacts, captured Nezmin and broke His neck in front of His friends. He is also a part of the Gnome Pantheon as The Founder of the Ideals of Alliances and Sacrifice, and in the Monster Pantheon as The Champion of Loss. His mount is recognized as being a Pseudonatural Wolf.

Dogma

Nezmin is an observant Embodiment that believes trust can be forged with even the worst of enemies. This trust can become tantamount for the survival of His newfound friends. And His observations are what showed them what their true weaknesses were. With His ideals of trust, Nezmin also embodies forgiveness. To forgive the transgressions of others to benefit the whole. And to make sacrifices to mend the wounds between others.

Gaining Favor or Redemption

Gaining favor with Nezmin can typically be done through forging alliances with others. As He is the Embodiment of Monsters, surviving and aiding one’s fellows are ways of gaining favor. But failure to uphold these ideals can lead to losing favor with Nezmin. Redemption is found through re-establishing one's connection with Nezmin through mending the ties between others to no benefit of yourself or others associated with you.

Interactions with the World

Nezmin’s contribution to Omedei came in the form of a type of seed that is unique to dungeons. Primarily, dungeons that housed dungeon cores. The remnant mana from the dungeon core’s destruction and a shard from the core can provide a mana rich soil for the seed to grow. This seed will grow into what is known as a Fragmented Yew. The Fragmented Yew is a squat tree with blackened bark and prismatic, crystalline berries adoring its branches. These branches are covered in needles that are composed of dark green and blue crystal shards. If one were to ingest the Fragmented Yew’s berries they will experience severe stomach cramps and eventually their chest will start to tighten severely. This is due to the potency of the berries as they are oversaturated with mana and can overload one that is not careful’s mana network. However, if one were to carefully prepare these berries, it is said to greatly help with mana restoration and even mana scarring. From what has been described by those that have survived eating the Fragmented Yew’s berries, they have expressed that the berries are incredibly bitter and have only been offset in their bitterness through the brave baking of an explorer who devised the “Yewtart” which was a Fragmented Yew baked tart that had a level of sweetness that equaled the bitterness of the berries. However, this led to a very bland taste. The needles, on the other hand, are a more dangerous affair. These needles, if one were to be pricked by one, can cause the body to convulse violently as they slowly have their blood crystallize. If they’re a seasoned spellcaster, they will slowly turn into a feral dungeon core.
