The Immortal Idol of Death and Betrayal
Neria is a pale, Female High Elf with dark makeup, blood tinted eyes, and hair as black as a starless night. She is usually depicted wearing reds and blacks, but many of Her worshippers are more keen on how She has worn dark brown leathers and copper bracers. The Immortal Idol Herself is often represented in mosaics and stained glass works as a matron over the dead and a shadow that lingers at the point where treachery takes place. Depending on the patriarch or matriarch that presides over the region, the art depicting Neria will sometimes have Her present for their death or betrayal. More concerning is more times than reasonable these events do come to pass exactly as depicted. Her mount is recognized as being a Vello Large Monstrous Bat.
Dogma
Neria is what can be considered an opportunistic Idol. Anything and everything She does is for Her benefit and is uncaring of the plights of others. There are some that hold Her ideals to heart and will act selfishly for their own gain, but there are some that recognize the benefits of Neria's dogma and will utilize it to great effect for more than just their own benefit. Neria, more importantly, views that following through with a plan rather than abandoning it due to "what-ifs" is the most important and sacred rule.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
Neria will always recognize the efforts of taking what you need and what you deserve. She is one of the easiest Idols to worship for this as Her means of redemption is also rather straightforward. Losing favor with Neria tends to be reliant on whether you were better suited for the situation at hand and proceeded to not follow through. Thus, the means of regaining Her favor is through seizing what is yours, which tends to be what you didn't follow through on. Other ways are by sabotaging the individual(s) that took what would have been better suited for yourself.
Interactions with the World
Neria tends to observe rather than take action. However, anything She deems worthy of Her attention may receive some sort of vague vision that could kickstart a chain of events. These tend to be false visions, but if they can perpetrate some form of betrayal or seizure of power then that is all the better for Her. Most worshippers of Neria tend to induce hallucinations or sleep upon themselves in hopes of receiving one of these visions in hopes of possibly meeting their Idol. However, Neria is aware of this outreach. These actions are only met with grim deaths.
