Master Arashk
The Great Being of Reverence
Master Arashk is an insectile humanoid that revered the dragons upon their arrival on Xilunwa. Arashk spread His teachings across Xilunwa to others in hopes of protecting the dragons. As He did so, He eventually came across Brys, the Great Being of Travel, and raised Him within His convent. They both pursued these great dragons in hopes of becoming closer to them. Eventually, Arashk and Brys had separated, and as time went on, Arashk chose to ruminate on the beliefs that are held by the dragons that graced Xilunwa. Upon Arashk’s death, and eventual idolization, dragons had become more widely accepted on Xilunwa. His mount is recognized as being a Insectile Drake.
Dogma
Arashk is known as a peaceful leader. One that believes in the betterment of one’s self through observing the nature of dragons and incorporating the best of that nature in their daily lives. He feels that everyone is capable of learning from another’s experiences. Arashk is incredibly patient with those that are stubborn with empathy and understanding.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
Balahran worshippers of the Alliance of Scales do not have to seek redemption from them as their faith is not gifted, but taken. Arashk’s favor is gained through gaining insight on others, and finding the best in that individual. Then, and only then, will a worshipper adopt that trait to emphasize the best in others. Sometimes this is done passively, but those that actively do so to uplift those around them are some of the most devout Arashk worshippers.
Interactions with the World
Arashk influences the actions of His worshippers through guidance. Arashk’s guidance upon His worshippers is reverence of others can lead to adopting what you are lacking. This was initially something that Arashk had taken upon Himself to do, but when others started to adopt His philosophies and ideals, Arashk sought to use His teachings to benefit the balahran peoples. These teachings helped the balahran in understanding that they can still benefit from the very beings they wish to hold back. And thus, Arashk provided insight on understanding the Great Dragons’ intentions and how to use them for the betterment of their own people.
