Manticore Tower

Tower of Quills

The Manticore Tower appears to be gnarled and misshappen fortress spire. Brandishing a large, cathedral-like entrance made of dark mahogany wood, the Manticore Tower's other features include the top and sides having jagged spikes jutting outwards and upwards. The Tower itself extends upwards to ~150ft tall and is about 95ft wide and appears to be made out of a silt-like stone that shimmers during sunrise and sunset. This may be part of the reason why the Manticore Tower is called the Yellow Tower. The Manticore Tower appears to be at the end of a flood plain leading towards the border of Ozad Araad, which could possibly be the reason why it has the name "The Plains Tower" as it is a part of these plains.

Room Indicators: Themed archway with the room having rippling distortion inside.   The Tower provides no indication on what the next room will be until you look inside that room to guess what you'll be dealing with.

Special Properties

Quirks of the Tower: The Manticore Tower has a strange fascination with Hobbits and love to converse with Dungeon Monsters. Though, contrary with its desire to speak to Dungeon Monsters, it does not like religion and will punish those that invoke a deity's name within itself.

Environmental Effects
The Manticore Tower feels the most like it desires to welcome new adventurers. This Tower's influence spans 5 miles around the Tower itself, and provides a web of paths that allow those unfortunate enough to wander too much to be lost and forgotten within the forest. Major threats in the forest are Manticores, Forest Dryads, and Blooming Shades.
