Jakob

The Champion of Dungeons

Jakob is a mummy that aided Valrux, the Champion of Leadership, in a war against Auros Fellarch, the Paragon of Rulership. During this, Jakob discovered what could be done with the soul, what steps could be taken to prevent loss, and further the lives of the Great Core. He took this knowledge, and through the creation of Zircon's sub-pantheon, was able to prove that dungeon monsters can coexist with the invasive races. His mount is recognized as being a Mummified Camel.

Dogma

Jakob is a pragmatic Champion that cares about receiving only the results of His plans. Failure to Jakob is only a step towards receiving what will be considered fact. Everything is meant to be taken one step at a time and planning ahead is only planning for failure. He is often worshipped for insight into Core creation and those that have completed a considerable amount of research receive the boon of His knowledge.

Gaining Favor or Redemption

Jakob's favor is only gained if one remains loyal to their Core. Loyalty to one's Core is a major tenet to follow. Lacking loyalty is a cause for loss of favor, but redemption is not lost entirely. Redemption is easily achieved through weeks of prayer and study to create a Core. This Core is to be the transgressor as they will learn why loyalty was truly needed and they must find that loyalty through no aid.

Interactions with the world

Worshippers of Blood tend to develop the unsentimental traits that Jakob is known for. Jakob worshippers are keen on advancing their Core or creating a Core that is worthy of their loyalty. Worshippers of Jakob have been known to capture some of the strongest-willed adventurers in hopes of converting them into Cores and having them delegated into aiding their current Core in their duties. Invariably every Core prefers to have Jakob worshippers as these worshippers tend to ease the burden from the main Core itself and provide plenty of benefits to the influence in the dungeon.
