Ilex
The Embodiment of Blood
Ilex embodies life and death on Omedei. Her existence was manifested long ago when the first Tower manifested. Drawn to the Tower alongside the other Primordials, Ilex was the last to scale the monolith. It's power spreading Her essence of life throughout Omedei giving the plane creatures to influence it and adding to the strength of the Tower. Her mount is recognized as being a Flesh Harvester.
Dogma
Ilex is an erratic Embodiment that seeks the attention of others. Her self-imposed purpose being the enforcement of whether mortals live or die. She works closely with Raiki so they may find the next spirit to pass on. She provides the structures of life, and she holds the power to take that life away. This is why death is so sudden and unexpected as she is the one that influences that flow.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
Mortals are incapable of losing favor with Ilex. Life does not favor anyone nor does it forsake others. Redemption is an unknown to the structures and guidelines of life, and thus Ilex does not seek for others to gain redemption in Her eyes.
Interactions with the World
Ilex has contributed mortality and purpose to the mortal creatures of Omedei, but Her accomplishments do not purely reside within the realms of living creatures. One of Her more obscure creations is Visceralline. Visceralline is a special gemstone that can be found in old graveyards and ancient battlefields. The blood and gore of other creatures gathers into these gems and they coalesced into a conduit for magic. Visceralline is typically excavated as opposed to mined. One of the primary uses for this gemstone is for a cheaper component for resurrection instead of a diamond. These are harder to find as many graverobbers sell these to churches in hopes of gaining a massive profit, but the uses for this gemstone are more than just for resurrection. Ilex meant for blood to be used as a replacement for magic, and Visceralline is meant to be used in place of any and all spell components.
