Evrael

The Divine Idol of Fate and Misfortune

Evrael is a Male High Elf with tawny skin, dark green eyes, and hair of night. He is often depicted wearing purples, blacks, and reds in artistic renditions. The Divine Idol Himself is often represented in oil paintings of tragedy and drama. These depictions are usually placed on the unfortunate victims in the pieces as their clothing, hair color, shading/light, or even Evrael themself taking the place of the victim. His mount is recognized as being a Vello Warhorse.

Dogma

Evrael is known as a haughty Idol that only sees the value in what someone can do, and not what they can be. This has led to many of Evrael's worshippers becoming sponsors for Tower expeditions. However, once in Evrael's good graces, he will provide assistance to those that certainly deserve it. A first impression with Evrael is key to Him being on your side, or leaving you to your own devices.

Gaining Favor or Redemption

Evrael has always been the practical sort, and as such will recognize the selfless acts done by others. Aiding another without asking for anything in return is something of great significance to Evrael. However, losing favor with Evrael is easy. This can be caused by an inability to be flexible in a team environment or refusing to accept help when needed. To redeem yourself, you must perform an act of self-sacrifice where you receive no benefit.

Interactions with the World

Evrael finds that fate can be altered, but not avoided. There are seers and oracles of Evrael that have been sought out in hopes of aiding them in their travels. These soothsayers will tend to guide those that ask in the direction of what their fate is supposed to be, but if they are asking for aid on behalf of another then they will be guided to the best suited path for that individual even if it is not beneficial to the one who asked.
