Basilisk Tower

Tower of Scales

This Tower appears to be a large, black and gray fortress spire. Octagonal in shape, the Basilisk Tower appears to be made of andesite and basalt. The Tower itself extends upwards to ~90ft tall and is about 70ft wide. The Basilisk Tower appears to garner its namesake as the "Orange Tower" from the volcanic activity that takes place as individuals get closer.

Quirks of the Tower: The Basilisk Tower takes enjoyment out of those that wield magical fire, or possibly have an appreciation for flame. This Tower does have a penchant for killing those that make the mistake of setting up camp within its influence as it does not appreciate "squatters."

Environmental Effects

The volcano that the Tower is on appears to exude volcanic vapors, and the intensity and effects become more dangerous the closer you get to the Tower. At the base of the Tower, it is held aloft above a pit of magma that is partially encased in a thin layer of obsidian.
