Pescheratsaya

A city sits in the lap of a mountain that towers above it like a stalwart sentinel. The Vas Mountain Range provides both a defense to the city that lives below, and a river that flows from the many streams and waterfalls from it's peak. But within the cities district, is a place that is arguably closer to the mountain than any other that clings to its cliffs and plateaus. The Pescheratsaya is beneath the stone of the stalwart mountain and sits closer to the heart of the mountain, than anything that lives upon it's skin.
City streets are carved along the stone floor of the mountain's insides. Buildings of ancient Dwarven make and newer Farwinder architecture can both be found in this strangely cozy subterranean grotto. A false sun hangs from magical tethers tied to the cave ceiling and it faintly illuminates the district with a warm yet dim light. Subterranean species of fungus, plants, and animals live throughout the city giving further light along the roads and in the garden boxes of houses. All of this, surrounds a cool underwater lake with an island. Upon this island in the center of the district, lies an ancient Dwarven keep that has been refurbished into Agregrad Hall.
