Dreamer's Haven
A newly founded city-state upon the edge of civilized Oracesis and the Siladriir Wildlands. Founded by a pair of adventurers, it has maintained its independence for the past 20 years. It had some trouble getting off the ground due to the nearby Duchies of Syrcasia as well as encounters with nearby dangers such as monsters and lack of available trade routes. However, through the assistance of allied factions, and having some noble allies. They were able to form their town into a trading hub and now is a new state in Northern Oracesis.
Founded by the adventurer Faux Tivaros, and her husband Cerides Tivaros, they founded the settlement of Dreamer's Haven. Originally the idea of Faux's adoptive father, Willen Horcusporcus. After adventuring around the colonies upon the island of Patharnae, they discovered it was a dangerous and most of their party died. After the death of Willen Horcusporcus, Faux and Cerides took it upon themselves to ensure that his dream became a reality, for his legacy and the safety of their new family. So they traveled across the continent to the other side of Czerelan and founded their own independent settlement. They took a number of their friends and allies with them to start this new town, and founded it near the islands of The Ribcage.
Culture
The culture of Dreamer's Haven is one that is an early melting pot. Many immigrants and travelers have found their way to the shores of Dreamer's Haven in hopes for a better life. The culture of their land is one of inclusion, hope, and new chances. Many who left their old lives in the south have found a new home in the north, given shelter and life in the city streets of Dreamer's Haven. It also has a more relaxed attitude, serving as a retirement location for adventurers and warriors. A number of travelers, mercenaries, mages, and hedgemen have come to Dreamer's Haven looking for a place to settle down. Some of their adventurous residents include Francisco De Veramini, the infamous Ratfolk Pirate, along with much of his crew. The family of the adventurer Willen Horcusporcus also live in one of the founding estates, near the founders of the city who are also adventurers themselves. Countless stories have ventured to the taverns and tabernacles of the city, as well as numerous people of importance.
Public Agenda
The city was founded by the remaining members of an adventuring party. Willen Horcusporcus, Faux Horcusporcus, and Cerides Tivaros. Willen wished to found a town far away from the island where many of their adventures took place. However, with his death during their battle with a man knwon as The Viscount, the remaining party members sought to see his dream become reality. It has become an important trade port along the western stream, a trade line connecting Hallen-Coredesh and Oracesis.
