Yipyap (Kobold)

Written by Brendan Gasparin

Yipyap is the language of kobolds. It consists of yips, yaps, barks, hisses, and other kobold noises. There are many variations of Yipyap but kobolds from similar regions can usually find ways to communicate with one another.

Writing System

Kobolds use the Dragontongue script extremely well for written communication and mapping, marking traps, tunnel layouts, and chronicling other facets of kobold life. Some kobolds call the written script Yipyap, while a few recognise its origins as the language of dragons.
