Goblin
The goblin language is used by goblins and other goblinoid creatures such as hobgoblins and bugbears. There are many variants and dialects of the goblin language, but goblin speakers from nearby regions in Arcania are usually able to communicate with one another. Goblin communication is guttural, composed of words mixed with barking, shrieking, hissing, and roaring, although it also involves a system of silent physical gestures for use in stealth combat.
Writing System
Goblins have a system of characters and symbols used for warnings and written communication. Some of these are borrowed from other languages such as Dworjin, Orcspeak, and the Common tongue. Not all goblins are literate, in fact some tribes of goblins fear writing, believing it steals thoughts from their heads.
