Gnomlish is a rich and complex language used by the gnomes. Gnomlish is the language of science, mathematics, and technology. Even scholars of of other species learn it so they can better communicate scientific ideas. Forest gnomes also use Gnomlish to speak with animals, each other, and to magically commune with the nature world.

The Gnomic script is an extensive and complicated written language that standardizes the use of written Gnomlish, as well as precise methods and formats for describing mathematics, scientific research, and magic.
