New Arrivals
Upon arrival, our highly qualified staff will take your property to their fully furnished room (complete with their own chamberpot) to acclimate to retirement with a hot soak and disinfection. After they've been cleansed of their old life, we'll take their measurements and refinish them with a new wardrobe appropriate to your tastes and their glorious end-of-days. Next, a trip to our on-site medical facility will check for pre-existing injuries and ailments and evaluate their physical and mental aptitudes to establish a treatment program. Purpose / Function
Originally a brothel, the Trefot Underjorden is the premier retirement home for slaves past their prime. Every Izingun, the establishment opens its doors to those interested in a more permanent form of entertainment - good ol' fashioned fights to the death. Sometimes the building's occupants fight each other, sometimes they fight things more.. feral.
For those who can afford it, paying to offload their chaff can be a lucrative venture as a portion of a fight's profits go the victor's patron (addition to access to better seating and priority betting).
For the working stiff, what better way is there to spend an evening off than the smell of iron, booze, and easy money?
For the fighter, well other than not dying, racking up wins does come with its benefits. Maybe you can step up a tier or two in the pecking order eh? Might be nice to have an extra meal before the big day. Perhaps it would be reassuring to know that your blade is freshly sharpened. Who knows? I've even heard rumors that the odd match-up against a nastly beastie may have been dodged a time or three.

A largely wooden building with extensive intricately carved features. The building has three floors centered over a fighting pit.
The Spiral Stair
Each floor of the establishment is connected by a singular caged spiral staircase. On each floor the staircase features two doors integrated into its latticework: one enters onto that floor, the other continues upwards. A guard is stationed at each door. Just remember, once the fighting starts the doors are locked. Although one may freely go down, climbing back up is invitation-only.The Top Floor (2F)
Spilling out from the end of the spiral staircase is the relatively quiet atmosphere of the fine life. The spacious common area features:- A private betting booth with guaranteed payouts and no-limit wagers. It is well reinforced and closed off from the rest of the room.
- A bar of ashy black wood that is intricately carved to depict two Halfling's fighting with spears. The bar offers high-end (and occasionally even imported) wines and ales.
- Individual high-backed padded chairs line a banister facing the opening overlooking the fighting pit
- An open corridor to the left and right of the banister. It interconnects the private boxes that border the other three sides of the floor opening.
The Middle Floor (1F)

A great fighting pit of hardpacked earth takes up most of the bottom level. The fighting pit is caged on one side to permit viewing "at eye level".Tourism
Both the "working" and "upper" class of Seclora partake in the bloodsport of Trefot Underjorden.
Status dictates the seating arrangement within the tower housing the fighting pit.
On the third floor (3F), the upper echelons of society and Livetselv-tier members may enjoy private box seating complete with concierge and access to the finest offerings from the kitchen and bar. Additionally, Livetsstrøm- or Livetsbekk-tier patrons with a fighter that night may enjoy the common area on this floor.
On the second floor (2F), Livetsstrøm- or Livetsbekk-tier patrons can comingle in the common area or along 3/4 of the opening of the floor. The portion against the far wall features better seating and access to a second bar.
On the main floor (G), any free individual may partake in the evening's debauchery.
In the pit (1B), the slaves of any patron in attendance may watch their former compatriots slaughter each other.

The tiers of membership at the establishment (livetsbekk, livetsstrøm, and livetselv) mean "creek of life", "stream of life", and "river of life", respectfully, to figuratively correlate to the likelihood of their fighter's likelihood to survive.
