ÜberLeiche
"It's still standing?! Nothing will kill this wretched abomination! Dorn; evacuate the area and get everyone to saf-EAGGGH!" ~Last words of Brother Crowe, before he was tragically killed by a notable ÜberLeiche-class undead
The ÜberLeiche is the intended result of the primary strain of the virus created by a future version of Paradox Testing Labs. Infectious to a fault like it's other created subspecies, the ÜberLeiche is the apex solider among the rank-and-file of these mutated first-series monsters. Most are carefully 'created', as they seldom occur from natural mutation of infected subjects of the alpha virus strain. Strong like the Myrmidon α, but slim and faster than even regular zombies. Some even have shown signs of intelligence and hints of the sapience they once had as humanoids. Rumours abound that one (or possibly more) are completely lucid, and Act on the unknown orders of future PTL seemingly by choice. This writer is unsure of what is more terrifying: a zombie that has no idea what it is doing, or a zombie that does-and relishes it.
Like other infected, near-lethal damage triggers a second mutation. However this mutation tends to be far more extreme than that seen in Splitters or Myrmidon αs.
